Step 1: Get your playlist together, put it on random, and play.
Step 2: Pick your favourite lines from the first 25 songs that play (in my case, excluding parodies and Thundercats out-takes, oh yes).
Step 3: Post and let everyone you know guess what song the lines come from.
Step 4: Cross out the songs when someone guesses correctly.

All correct (although I think the "Making" in "Music to Watch Girls By" is not in the title)! Black Velvet is by Alannah Myles, but since I don't remember artists I don't think I should expect everyone else too.

I had this circling in my head for a while before I could place it: "Indie, 1990s, not The Charlatans...."
It's "Sound" from James's album Seven, and I haven't heard that track in forever!
