That’s right. You’ll have a national philosopher’s strike on your hands.

DEEP THOUGHT:
Who will that inconvenience?

MAJIKTHISE:
Never you mind who it’ll inconvenience you box of black legging binary bits! It’ll hurt, buster! It’ll hurt!

amuchmoreexotic is slightly wrong (although he is amusing). While they save money on bandwidth etc, they stand to lose more because paid users are threatening to leave as a result. Not to mention the people with Plus accounts that will be striking, and so won't see the ads that day.

I seriously doubt there will be a large number of people who take part in the strike, and even if it is more than a blip, if I were SUP I'd think "great, let's get rid of the trouble makers".
